Inroda was born in the Sao Paulo state town of Avare. In the 1960s, at the “Joao The Plumber Repair Shop” on Rio de Janeiro St., a product was created and eventually became a revolutionary tool for clearing farmland and pastures in Brazil: Inroda's tractor brushcutter. Along with his milling jobs, Joao Sampaio repaired used parts of trucks, cars, tractors and agricultural equipment.
One day he decided to use truck chassis to product agricultural trailers. Together with his brother Roque, Sampaio began testing truck differentials with a set of blades connected directly to the gear. It was the prototype of the first brush cutting machine in Brazil.
After extensive studies in mechanics and lots of dedication, the invention became a simple, sturdy and versatile implement, supplied upon demand to cattle farmers and crop producers. The feedback was exceptional, and soon the brothers had to produce it in an industrial scale. It was the birth of Inroda
With serial production and the mission to meet an ever growing demand for the product, the company acquired and moved to larger, more adequate facilities by early 1971. In its new HQ at 810 Piaui Street, Inroda began a program of continuous development, implanting new technologies, adding experiences and investments on personnel training. New implements were designed, such as the Hydraulic Brushcutter, the Rear Loader, and the Silage Fork.
Today, the search for quality in its products and the aim to fully satisfy customers' needs have led Inroda to a leadership position in the Brazilian brushcutter market, as well as to successful export operations. |
